What is this site even about?
I wish I knew. I just write about things I’m interested in and immodestly assume that you must be too.
Why is it called Detour Expeditions then?
Well, I wanted to start a mountaineering company, so I bought a domain name but soon realized that I don’t have the necessary experience and was left with the said domain in my hands and here we are.
So, this is not….a mountaineering company?
Not yet. Not for a few years at the very least.
But you will write about mountains?
Yes, and also about me climbing them, among other things.
Why do you want to climb mountains?
They’re pointy.
